A conference was organized in order to raise awareness in the Faculty of Sport Sciences on the occasion of March 8, International Women's Day.

The program started with the Respect of Respect and the Reading of our National Anthem. Making the opening speech of the program, Dean of the Faculty Prof.Dr. Hüseyin ÜNLÜ: “Women have a very different place in both Islam and Turkish Culture. Both glorify the woman and emphasize her value. For this reason, we must have a good understanding of the importance of women in the society and in our daily lives and the traces left by them, and give the necessary value completely. ”

Prof. Dr. Şenay KARAKUŞ UYSAL, who participated in the program as a speaker, talked about the 8 March Women's Day and talked about how Woman has a place in the world. Uysal also; He emphasized Atatürk's statement that “Everything in the world is the work of a woman” and shared with the audience how accurate it was.
